In Bingöl, aid was extended to Palestine and Gaza, which have been subjected to Israel’s attacks. With the support of local NGOs and citizens in the city, 4 trucks of flour were collected and set off to be sent to Gaza. The aid trucks were bid farewell with prayers in a program held next to the municipality filled with love and peace wishes.

Prof. Dr. İbrahim Çapak, the Rector of Bingöl University, emphasized the importance of everyone’s support for such aid in his statement. Çapak stated, ‘We should keep alive this sense of solidarity and mutual aid, which is not only the responsibility of Muslims but of all humanity. As humanity, we should support each other in difficult times. We hope that this challenging period will end soon.’

The Deputy Mayor Sait Kolak, AFAD Provincial Director Mehmet Emin Boğatekin, and representatives of various NGOs also attended the program.
