Heavy Rainfall Effective After Prolonged Drought in Kırıkkale

After the ‘yellow code’ warning issued by the Meteorology General Directorate in the city of Kırıkkale, showers started in the evening. The heavy rain, which was effective after a long period of drought, had a negative impact on the residents and drivers in the city. Drivers struggling to progress on Kırıkkale-Ankara, Kırıkkale-Kayseri, and Konya highways affected by the showers had to be cautious.

Due to the sudden rain in the city center, citizens experienced difficult moments. Some tried to protect themselves from the rain by opening their umbrellas, while others ran to find shelter. The approximately half-hour shower provided relief to cultivated agricultural lands, serving as a lifeline for wheat fields.
