Heavy Rain Turns the Streets into Lakes in Tokat

A heavy rain in Tokat province left the city almost submerged. The sudden and approximately half-hour downpour turned the streets into a pond. Rainwater overflowed from the sidewalks to the opposite lane, causing vehicles to be unable to move in the water. Citizens took shelter in shops to protect themselves from the rain.

While the streets and avenues in the city were submerged, some areas had puddles of water. As the accumulated water flowed rapidly due to the rain, citizens experienced difficult moments.
