Heavy Rain in Tokat Floods the Streets

Due to the heavy rain in Tokat province, the streets turned into ponds. The sudden rain caused puddles in many parts of the city. As the streets and avenues were flooded, some vehicles struggled to move. Citizens seeking shelter from the rain took refuge in shops.

As a result of the approximately half-hour heavy rainfall, the rainwater overflowing from the sidewalks flowed in the opposite direction through the gutters. Citizens who noticed the situation took precautions to avoid being submerged in water. The puddles formed on the streets temporarily disrupted transportation in the city.
