Baykar’s domestically and indigenously developed Bayraktar TB3 UAV successfully completed its 26th test flight, during which it remained airborne for 27 hours. The indigenous electro-optical system ASELFLIR-500 took off with the national UAV, covering a total distance of 4,600 kilometers during the 27-hour flight.

Bayraktar TB3 UAV, developed domestically and indigenously by Baykar, successfully completed its 26th test flight, during which it flew for 27 hours. During the 26th test flight conducted at the AKINCI Flight Training and Test Center in Çorlu district of Tekirdağ, the Bayraktar TB3 remained airborne at medium altitude for 27 hours and 19 minutes without interruption. The flight, which began on March 28 at 09:40, was successfully completed on March 29 at 12:59 when the Bayraktar TB3’s wheels touched the runway. It successfully passed all tests measuring the system and endurance performance at medium altitude using the state-of-the-art ASELFLIR-500 Electro-Optical System. During the 27-hour flight, Bayraktar TB3 covered a total distance of 4,600 kilometers.

Total flight time reaches 224 hours
Bayraktar TB3 UAV has spent a total of 224 hours airborne during the test flights conducted to date. Equipped with the domestically developed PD-170 engine by TEI, the national UAV remained airborne for 32 hours without landing during the long-duration flight test conducted on December 20, 2023, covering a distance of 5,700 kilometers in the sky.
