- The promotional tour of the Touristic Black Diamond Express has been completed.
The Touristic Black Diamond Express Western Black Sea Touristic Train Tour, which is set to commence its regular journeys on April 12th with the aim of promoting regional tourism, has completed its promotional journey and returned to Ankara. On the first day of the tour, the express made stops at Kalecik, Çankırı, Çerkeş, Karabük, and Zonguldak stations, departing from Ankara. On the return journey, accompanied by a concert from the miner’s choir in Zonguldak, the train left Yenice, Eskipazar, and Çankırı, reaching Ankara.
“I think it will be a very beautiful and enjoyable tour.”
Expressing that participating in the tour was a pleasant experience, Alper Sarı stated, “We had a beautiful tour as an experience. In terms of the region, we did not encounter any difficulties with the approach of the tradesmen towards us and the attitude of the staff. I think it will be a very beautiful and enjoyable tour.”
“We had the opportunity to see the colors of nature over and over again.”
Another participant, 19-year-old Figen Bülge Gültekin, mentioned that they had enjoyable and unique experiences during the tour, saying, “Nature has a unique beauty, and we fully experience it on this journey. Our stops and receptions were very nice. We had unique experiences in the canyons we passed, and we had the opportunity to see the colors of nature over and over again.”
Throughout the route, participants visited the gastronomy of Kalecik, the salt cave in Çankırı, the natural beauties of Çerkeş, the ancient city of Hadrianapolis, the UNESCO Cultural Heritage City of Safranbolu, Yenice with Turkey’s largest block forests, and Gökgöl Cave, as well as Zonguldak Mining Museum and Coal Experience Mine, and the National Zonguldak Coal Geopark.
The Touristic Black Diamond Express Western Black Sea Touristic Train Tour is set to embark on its first regular journey on April 12th.
