Foreign PPI Increased By 59.27 Percent Annually

The foreign producer price index (FPPI) rose by 59.27 percent annually and 4.57 percent monthly in January. The Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) announced the January 2024 data for the foreign producer price index. Accordingly, the foreign producer price index (FPPI) showed a 4.57 percent increase compared to the previous month, a 4.57 percent increase compared to December of the previous year, a 59.27 percent increase compared to the same month of the previous year, and a 51.72 percent increase in twelve-month averages. Annual changes in FPPI for manufactured products increased by 59.24 percent Annual changes in two sectors of industry; mining and quarrying increased by 60.76 percent, manufacturing increased by 59.24 percent. Annual changes in main industrial groups; intermediate goods increased by 51.36 percent, durable consumer goods increased by 65.98 percent, nondurable consumer goods increased by 65.37 percent, energy increased by 47.22 percent, capital goods increased by 69.03 percent. Monthly changes in FPPI for manufactured products increased by 4.60 percent Monthly changes in two sectors of industry; mining and quarrying increased by 3.07 percent, manufacturing increased by 4.60 percent. Monthly changes in main industrial groups; intermediate goods increased by 3.32 percent, durable consumer goods increased by 6.03 percent, nondurable consumer goods increased by 4.63 percent, energy increased by 4.52 percent, capital goods increased by 5.84 percent.
