Support for citrus workers from Kozan Municipality

Kozan Mayor Kazım Özgan, along with his colleagues, met with citrus workers who started their work early in the morning with the first light in Kozan district of Adana. Özgan noted that this year, due to the lack of profitability of citrus on the tree, they discussed the value of Kozan oranges in major cities such as Istanbul and Ankara to support producers and workers in Kozan, the branded city of citrus, on behalf of Kozan Municipality. He emphasized the significant role of women entrepreneurs in the district for the production of high-value products. While listening to the problems and difficulties of citrus workers in the orchard, Özgan also took note of their requests and desires. Özgan stated that they would do everything in their power for the workers who put effort into the citrus sector and mentioned that they have prepared projects. He also assured that decisions would be made to eliminate the problems.
